ABOUT US

JDN Build is owned and operated by John “JD” Nock IV, a second generation builder. Having over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, JD brings knowledge and attention to detail that only a generational builder is able to provide.

JD has been part of every task imaginable in the building process working under his father who has been a Certified General Contractor for 45 years. He started out as a clean-up worker on projects, and then with more involvement and dedication honed his skills as a carpenter, crew leader to project manager. From small room additions to 5,000 square foot homes to 3-story 18 unit condominiums, he uses these many years of hands-on experience to now manage the many details of JDN Build projects.

In JD's time off you'll find him working on his German cars, mountain biking or paddleboarding on the beautiful Florida waters with his wife, Leah, and their dog Finn. Both born in St Augustine, JD and Leah‘s love of the construction industry stems from watching their fathers as contractors since their childhoods.
